Boston, Mass.--Senior Haley Oliver (Coventry, R.I.) set another school record in the 3,000m as the Rhode Island College women's track and field team competed at Boston University's David Hemery Valentine Invitational on Friday.
 
THE BASICS
• This was an individual meet with no team scoring. The field of teams featured mostly Div. I and Div. II competition.
 
THE TOP PERFORMERS
• Oliver finished 127th in the 3,000m (9:50.23).
 
• Sophomore Quiana Pezza (Cranston, R.I.) finished 27th in the 4x400m relay (4:03.85; team season best) and 31st in the 200m (25.69; personal best).
 
• Sophomore Bendu Kamara (Pawtucket, R.I.) finished 27th in the 4x400m relay (4:03.85; team season best), 72nd in the 200m (26.67; personal best) and 112th in the 400m (1:02.22; personal best).
 
• Freshman Aaliyah Barbour-Chamble (Providence, R.I.) finished 27th in the 4x400m relay (4:03.85; team season best), 76th in the 200m (26.75) and 82nd in the 400m (59.83; personal best).

• Freshman Zoe Matos (Wakefield, R.I.) tied for 16th in the high jump (1.55m; personal best) and 121st in the 400m (1:04.57).
 
THE REST OF THE FIELD
• Freshman Maire Scanlon (Rocky Hill, Conn.) finished 14th in the long jump (4.98m; season best).

• Freshman Naibel Noriega (Providence, R.I.) finished 27th in the 4x400m relay (4:03.85; team season best), 52nd in the 400m (58.62) and 53rd in the 200m (26.18).
 
• Freshman Shanna Correia (West Warwick, R.I.) finished 21st in the high jump (1.50m).
 
• Sophomore Funmilayo Mclin (Providence, R.I.) finished 21st in the weight throw (13.03m).

• Junior Lexie Zakrzewski (Taunton, Mass.) finished 120th in the 400m (1:03.93).

In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will compete at the 2026 Little East Women's Indoor Track and Field Championship, hosted by Plymouth State on Saturday, Feb. 21.
