Rhode Island College to Host 2026 NCGA East Regional Championship

Providence, R.I.—Rhode Island College will host the 2026 National Collegiate Gymnastics Association (NCGA) East Regional Championship at The Murray Center on Saturday, March 7 (1 p.m.).
 
THE BASICS
The seven-team field includes the Anchorwomen, SUNY Brockport, SUNY Cortland, Ithaca, Springfield, Ursinus and Utica. The top two teams, as well as several individual qualifiers, earn an automatic bid to the NCGA National Championship, which will be held at Cortland on Friday, March 20.
 
HOW TO WATCH
The meet will be covered by Virtius with live scoring and video.

IMPORTANT INFO FOR SPECTATORS
Parking
Spectators will be able to park in nearby Lots J and I for the competition on Saturday.
 
Tickets information:
Adult: $10.00
Senior Citizen (65 & Older), Child (Age 4-17) & College Student with ID: $5.00
Children 3 & under: FREE
 
Pre-ordering tickets is available from February 16 - March 4

Tickets will also be available to purchase in person at the meet on Saturday, March 7. Doors to The Murray Center will open at 11:00am. Spectator access to the seating area will not be available prior to 11:00 a.m.
 
DIRECTIONS

• From Route 95 Northbound

Take Exit 21 (Broadway exit); turn left at second traffic light (Atwells Avenue). Follow Atwells Avenue for 1.5 miles to the intersection with Mount Pleasant Avenue. Turn right onto Mount Pleasant Avenue. The College entrance is 1.1 miles ahead on the left.
 

• From Route 95 Southbound

Take Exit 21 (Atwells Avenue exit). Turn right onto Atwells Avenue. Continue on Atwells Avenue for 1.5 miles to the intersection with Mount Pleasant Avenue. Turn right onto Mount Pleasant Avenue. The College entrance is 1.1 miles ahead on the left.

• From Route 295 Northbound

Take Exit 6A to US Route 6 East.  Follow US Route 6 East to the Killingly Street (RI Route 128) exit.  Turn left off exit and follow Killingly Street to end.  Turn right onto Greenville Avenue and follow to first traffic light.  Bear left across the bridge onto Manton Ave.  Continue to the next traffic light and turn left onto Fruit Hill Avenue.  Bear right at the fork in the road. Campus entrance is approximately 0.2 mile ahead on the right.

• From Route 295 Southbound

Take Exit 7A to US Route 44 East. Follow US Route 44 East for 2.8 miles to the intersection with Fruit Hill Avenue. Bear right onto Fruit Hill Avenue. The College entrance is 1.0 mile ahead on the left.
 

• From the State House

Follow US Route 44 West (Smith Street) for 2.3 miles. Turn sharp left onto Mount Pleasant Avenue. Follow Mount Pleasant Avenue for 0.4 mile. The College entrance is on the right.

• Public Transportation (RIPTA)

The Rhode Island Public ?Transit Authority operates bus service to the Rhode Island College campus. Schedule: 92 Rhode Island College / Federal Hill / East Side. Visit RIPTA for other routes/details.
 
Drop off: Buses and vans will drop off personnel in Lot J in front of The Murray Center.
Officials and meet personnel will be directed to park in Lot J.
 
Buses and vans MUST park in Lot H.
