Providence, R.I.—Head Coach Monica Mesalles Nassi (Career record: 0-4) finished the 2018-19 season with an 0-4 overall record and a sixth place (six teams) finish at the National Collegiate Gymnastics Association (NCGA) East Regional Championship.

The Anchorwomen established new program records for team score (185.525), vault (47.350) and beam (46.850) at the NCGA East Regional Championship on March 10. RIC also posted the program’s best-ever effort on bars (44.825) and floor (47.300) at the West Chester Tri on Feb. 15.

RIC sent two all-around competitors to the NCGA National Championship, hosted by Wisconsin-Oshkosh on March 23.

Senior Allie DiBiase (North Kingstown, RI) earned All-American honors in the all-around with a sixth place finish at the NCGA National Championship on March 23. She was also named team MVP. DiBiase earned All-Region honors in the all-around with a third place finish at the NCGA East Regional Championship on March 10. DiBiase averaged scores of 9.439 on vault, 8.900 on bars, 8.600 on beam, 9.232 on floor and 36.170 in the all-around. She posted season-high scores on 9.600 on floor and 37.150 in the all-around at the NCGA National Championship on March 23. DiBiase posted a season-best score of 9.175 on bars at the Brown Tri on Feb. 10. She posted a season-high score of 9.350 on beam at the NCGA East Regional Championship on March 10. DiBiase posted a season-best score of 9.675 on floor at the West Chester Tri on Feb. 15. She was named the NCGA East Region All-Around Gymnast of the Week once on the season.

As a junior in 20017-18, DiBiase missed the entire season due to a knee injury.

As a sophomore in 2016-17, DiBiase was named the team MVP. She qualified for the NCGA National Championships as an all-arounder for the second straight season. She averaged scores of 9.227 on vault, 8.802 on bars, 8.830 on beam and 9.057 on floor for an all-around average of 35.916 on the season. She registered a season-best score of 9.550 on vault and a 9.175 on bars at the Springfield Quad on Mar. 11. DiBiase scored a season-best score of 9.325 on beam at the Cortland Tri on Feb. 5. She recorded her season-best score of 9.425 on floor at the Southern Connecticut Quad on Feb. 17. DiBiase recorded her season-best all-around score of 37.075 at the Springfield Quad on Mar. 11. She was named the NCGA All-Around Gymnast of the Week once on the season.

As a freshman in 2015-16, DiBiase qualified for the NCGA National Championships in the all-around and finished 14th overall with a score of 36.450. She averaged scores of 9.245 on vault, 8.116 on bars, 8.612 on beam and 9.122 on floor for an all-around average of 35.269 for the season. She registered a season-best 9.350 on vault twice on the year. DiBiase scored season-highs of 8.625 on bars and 9.200 on beam at the NCGA East Regional on Mar. 6. She recorded her season-best score on floor, 9.650 and all-around point total (36.450) at the NCGA Nationals on Mar. 18. DiBiase was named the NCGA All-Around Gymnast of the Week once on the season.

She is a marketing major and a 2015 graduate of North Kingstown High School.

Senior Miranda Murphy (Lansdale, PA) finished ninth in the all-around, one spot shy of earning All-American honors, at the NCGA National Championship on March 23. Murphy earned All-Region honors in the all-around with a fourth place finish at the NCGA East Regional Championship on March 10. She averaged scores of 9.095 on vault, 8.780 on bars, 8.943 on beam, 9.207 on floor and 36.025 in the all-around on the season. Murphy posted a season-high score of 9.350 on vault at the Brown Tri on Feb. 10 and at the NCGA East Regional Championship on March 10. She posted a season-high score of 9.200 on bars and 37.375 in the all-around vs. Springfield on March 3. Murphy posted a season-best score of 9.425 on beam at the NCGA East Regional on March 10. She posted a season-high score of 9.600 on floor at the West Chester Tri on Feb. 15.

As a junior in 2017-18, she earned All-Region honors with a fifth place (37.000) finish in the all-around at the NCGA East Regional Championship on March 3. Murphy averaged scores of 9.038 on vault, 8.755 on bars, 9.133 on beam, 9.225 on floor and 36.150 all-around for the season. She posted season-best scores of 9.250 on vault and 9.100 on bars at the NCGA East Regional Championship on March 10, 9.600 on beam and 37.225 in the all-around vs. Ursinus on March 3 and 9.425 on floor at the West Chester Tri. on Jan. 27. Her score of 9.600 on beam was a new program record and her all-around total of 37.225 was the third highest score in program history.

As a sophomore in 2016-17, she qualified for the NCGA National Championships as an all-arounder. She averaged scores of 8.819 on vault, 7.910 on bars, 8.810 on beam and 8.843 on floor. Murphy notched a season-best score of 9.325 on vault at the Brown Quad on Feb. 12. She had a season-best score of 8.600 on bars at the season-opening RIC Quad on Jan. 15. Murphy posted a season-best 9.225 on beam on two occasions. Murphy recorded a season-best score of 9.325 on floor at the Harriet Marranca Invitational on Feb. 26. Murphy registered a season-best score of 35.850 in the all-around at the Brown Quad on Feb. 12.

As a freshman in 2015-16, she averaged scores of 8.322 on bars, 8.350 on beam and 8.563 on floor. She notched a season-best score of 9.075 on bars at the NCGA East Regional on Mar. 6. Murphy tallied a season-best score of 8.350 on beam at Brockport on Feb. 7. She notched a season-high 8.825 on floor at the West Chester Tri on Jan. 16.

She is a management major and a 2015 graduate of North Penn High School.

Junior Amy Carranza (Rumford, RI) was a reserve on the team.

Junior Grace Davis (Royersford, PA) averaged scores of 9.158 on beam and 9.310 on floor on the season. She posted a season-high score of 9.500 on beam at West Chester on Feb. 15. Davis posted a season-best score of 9.500 on floor twice, reaching this mark vs. Ithaca on Jan. 13 and again at the Brown Quad on Jan. 26.

Junior Chandler Lynn (Grosse Pointe Woods, MI) averaged scores of 8.506 on bars and 9.198 on floor. She posted a season-best score of 8.850 on bars at the Southern Connecticut Tri on Jan. 27 and again at the West Chester Tri on Feb. 15. Lynn registered a season-best score of 9.550 on floor at the NCGA East Regional Championship on March 10.

Junior Violet Pinola (Milton, MA) averaged scores of 8.375 on bars and 8.503 on beam. She posted a season-high score of 8.375 on bars vs. Springfield on March 3. Pinola posted a season-best score of 9.275 on beam at the Harriet Marranca Invitational on Feb. 24.

Junior Kyndel Yett (Carrollton, GA) averaged scores of 9.285 on vault, 8.318 on bars and 9.236 on floor. Yett posted a season-high score of 9.500 on vault at the Brown Tri on Feb. 10. She registered a season-best score of 8.750 on bars at the West Chester Tri on Feb. 15. Yett posted a season-high score of 9.525 on floor vs. Springfield on March 3.

Sophomore Alison Kleinebreil (Attleboro, MA) averaged scores of 9.020 on vault, 8.060 on beam and 9.375 on floor. She posted a season-high score of 9.300 on vault at the Brown Tri on Feb. 10. Kleinebreil posted season-best marks of 9.275 on beam and 9.375 on floor vs. Springfield on March 3.

Sophomore Ali Peterman (Seneca Falls, NY) averaged a score of 8.664 on beam. She posted a season-high score of 9.475 on beam at the NCGA East Regional Championship on March 10.

Sophomore Kaela Skerl (Albuquerque, NM) averaged scores of 8.393 on bars, 8.388 on beam and 9.200 on floor. She posted a season-best score of 9.000 on bars at the West Chester Tri on Feb. 15. Skerl posted a season-best score of 9.025 on beam at the Brown Tri on Feb. 10. She posted a season-best score of 9.200 on floor at the Southern Connecticut Tri on Jan. 27.

Sophomore Christa Vaccaro (Winthrop, MA) averaged scores of 9.305 on vault, 8.698 on bars and 8.975 on floor. She registered a season-high score of 9.500 on vault vs. Springfield on March 3 and again at the NCGA East Regional Championship on March 10. Vaccaro posted a season-high score of 9.025 on bars at the West Chester Tri on Feb. 15. She registered a season-best score of 9.400 on floor at the Brown Quad on Jan. 26.

Freshman Krystina Ciardi (Santa Clarita, CA) was a reserve on the team.

Freshman Olivia Lowe (Wall, NJ) was a reserve on the team.

Freshman Sara Proctor (Waterford, CT) averaged a score of 9.043 on vault. She posted a season-best score of 9.450 on vault at the NCGA East Regional Championship on March 10.
