Men's Golf Finishes Day One at 2019 GNAC Championship

Saco, Maine—Senior Tyler Boisclair (West Warwick, RI) is tied for 17th (79) after the first round of the 2019 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Men's Golf Championship played at Biddeford Saco Country Club on Saturday afternoon.

• The Anchormen are currently in seventh place (eight teams) with a score of 339. Southern Maine is in first place with a score of 297.

• The contest was held at Biddeford Saco Country Club. It is a par-71 course that measured 6,333 yards.

• There are 39 golfers competing at the championship.

• Senior Evan Moore (Portsmouth, RI) carded an 83 and is tied for 20th overall.

• Freshman Will Niles (Warwick, RI) finished with an 88 and is tied for 30th.

• Senior Matthew Butler (Johnston, RI) finished with an 89 and is tied for 32nd

In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will play the second round of the GNAC Championship back at Biddeford Saco Country Club on Sunday, Oct. 13.
