Providence, R.I.—Rhode Island College senior Evan Moore (Portsmouth, RI) has been named to the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) All-Sportsmanship team for his performance in men’s golf during the fall portion of the 2019-20 season.
This season, Moore has finished 25th with a score of 88 at the Brett Williamson Invitational on Sept. 19. He tied for 116th with a score of 174 (91, 83) at Williams Fall Invitational on Sept. 21-22. Moore tied for 31st with a score of 160 (75, 85) at the FSC Fall Invitational on Sept. 28-29. He finished second with a score of 74 at the RIC Homecoming Invitational on Oct. 4. Moore was medalist with a score of 81 at Western Connecticut on Oct. 8. He tied for 22nd with a score of 162 (83, 79) at the GNAC Championship on Oct. 12-13.
Head Coach Gene St. Pierre’s team finished seventh (eight teams) with a team score of 671 (339, 332) at the GNAC Championship.
In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will compete at the 2019 New England Intercollegiate Golf Association (NEIGA) Championship on Oct. 20-21.
