HOW IT HAPPENED
• Senior midfielder
Jordan Meier (Holderness, N.H.) scored what proved to be the game-winning goal in the 28
th minute for the hosts. It was her fifth of the season.

• The first half ended at a 1-0 score, with Kerecz stopping three in the opening frame. It was a defensive battle over the first 45 minutes of action as Plymouth State held a slight shot advantage, 6-3.

• Meier then helped sophomore midfielder
Ashley Plante (Concord, N.H.) scored her second goal of the year in the 66
th minute to give the hosts and insurance marker.

Tess Dugan (Bristol, R.I.) and freshman forward
Serena Forte (Hope, R.I.) were the only Anchorwomen to get a shot on net, with two and three, respectively.

BY THE NUMBERS
• Kerecz ended the match with a game-high five saves.  In a losing effort (2-8).

• PSU senior goalkeeper
Elena Register (Helena, Ala.) made three saves to earn the win (3-0) for the Panthers. She has yet to allow a goal during 270 minutes of action this fall.

• PSU held the advantage in shots (11-10) and corner kicks (3-2).
