• The Anchorwomen tried to start fast on their opponent in the first 10 minutes, taking three shots from the likes of sophomore midfielder
Tayshia Cary (Wakefield, R.I.), sophomore back
Karen Johnson-Hoffman (Groton, Conn.) and junior midfielder
Marissa Ruzzano (Smithfield, R.I.). However, RIC was unable to net a goal and would go without a shot for the remainder of the half.

Eliza Roy (Camden, Maine) scored her sixth goal of the season to put Southern Maine on the board.

Catriona Gould (Freeport, Maine), who picked up an assist on the Roy marker, would score two goals of her own just one minute apart in the 55
