HOW IT HAPPENED
GAME ONE
• RIC got on the board first when freshman left fielder Sophia Crudale (Cranston, R.I.) doubled down the left field line to bring in a run in the second inning.

• The bats didn't wake up for RIC again until the end of the contest, where the Anchorwomen scored five runs over the final three innings to seal the game.

• Kidd was masterful, notching win number five (5-4) and punching put 12.

GAME TWO
• BSU scored first on an RBI single in the first inning. RIC added two runs in the fourth inning thanks to RBI by senior designated player Alexis Boyce (Wolcott, Conn.) and sophomore shortstop Amanda Conti (Lincoln, R.I.). The Bears struck for a run to tie the game in the bottom of the frame.

• RIC again got hot down the stretch, scoring four runs from the fifth inning on, which included a big double from junior first baseman Katelyn Ashe (Colchester, Conn.) in the fifth stanza.

• Kidd came on for the final five outs of the ball game and got the save. Freshman pitcher Gabby Cunha (Cranston, R.I.) picked up her first collegiate win (1-0).

• Ashe and Boyce each went a 3-for-7 with a run scored and an RBI on the day. Kidd pitched a total of 8.2 innings and struck out 12.
