Providence, R.I.—Rhode Island College has named Earl Bright III as the Department of Athletics' Assistant Administrative Officer.

Prior to joining the athletic department, Bright III spent 16 years working in RIC's records/registrar office, culminating as an administrative officer/veterans school certified official.

Bright III has a spent a total of 35 years working for the State of Rhode Island. He previously worked with Child Support Enforcement and Water Resources Board.
