Springfield, Mass.--Senior midfielder Marissa Ruzzano (Smithfield, R.I.) scored the Anchorwomen's lone goal as Rhode Island College fell, 6-1, at Springfield's Brock-Affleck Field on Saturday afternoon.

• Four first-half goals for the Pride set the tone in what would be a one-sided contest.
 
• Ruzzano notched her team-leading fourth goal of the season off a penalty kick in the 60^th minute.
 
• Springfield's defense seemed like a brick wall, allowing no shots on goal other than the penalty kick.
 
• Sophomore goalkeeper Nicole Nunes (Smithfield, R.I.) made a career-high seven saves during a second-half relief effort. Senior Chloe Angelone (Bayville, N.Y.) started and stopped two in the loss (3-2).
