• With the Anchorwomen trailing, 5-2, in the top of the sixth, senior shortstop
Amanda Conti (Lincoln, R.I.) walked and sophomore right fielder
Melanie Earley (Lumberton, R.I.) singled.
• Young homered to deadlock the contest, 5-5, but the visitors failed to plate the go-ahead run.
• North Central put three across in the bottom of the sixth to regain the advantage and quickly dismissed RIC in the top of the seventh to secure the win.

Reilly Austin (Cumberland, R.I.) went 2-for-3 with a double, while sophomore catcher
Brianna Bailey (Windsor, Conn.) went 1-for-2 with a double and an RBI.

Gabby Cunha (Cranston, R.I.) took the loss (0-2).
