HOW IT HAPPENED
• The game was played in driving rain for the entire contest.

• Goals from both Lambert and sophomore midfielder Brie Macaruso (Ashaway, R.I.) gave the hosts a pair in the first, but it was the Falcons who closed out the final three minutes of the first with two goals to lead, 4-2.

• Two more goals from the Anchorwomen knocked the deficit down to two, 7-5, but they could not get any closer as a pair of scores with less than two minutes left in the half put the Falcons up five, 9-5, heading into the break.

• The visitors held RIC scoreless in the third and poured on four goals to increase their lead to eight, 13-5.

• The Anchorwomen were held off the board in the fourth quarter until junior midfielder Lily Nees (Rehoboth, Mass.) ran the length of the field and scored with 0.1 remaining.

• It was Lambert's second hat trick of the season. Lily finished with a goal, dished out an assist and picked up a game-best seven ground balls.
