HOW IT HAPPENED
• Despite trailing by six in the first stanza, 18-12, the Anchorwomen tied it up at 22 apiece after a pair of attack errors, but could not come from behind to steal the set as the Saints sneaked away with a  26-24 decision.

• RIC trailed again, 18-17, in the second set, but this time was able to upend the hosts, 26-24, thanks to a pair of kills from both freshman classmates Aliyah Evora (East Providence, R.I.) and Esther Jung (Springfield, Va.).

• Emmanuel made quick work of the visitors, 25-12, in the third stanza to take a 2-1 set lead.

• Another kill from Jung leveled the fourth set, 19-19, was it not enough to spark an Anchorwoman run as the hosts finished off RIC in four sets, 25-20.

• Jung finished with a career-high seven kills, while sophomore defensive specialist Caroline Morrell (Gorham, Maine) led the team on defense with 11 digs.
