Box Score Dartmouth, Mass.— Junior forward Ornela Livramento (Pawtucket, RI) notched 14 points and added eight rebounds as the Rhode Island College women's basketball team fell at UMass Dartmouth, 77-65, in a Little East Conference contest on Wednesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• RIC freshman guard Taylor Thompson (Greenville, SC) scored 13 points and grabbed two rebounds, while sophomore guard Brooke Young (West Warwick, RI) added 11 points and two boards.
• Sophomore guard Sophia Guerrier (Waltham, MA) was also in double figures with 10 points, six rebounds and four steals. Freshman forward Willcia McBorrough (Providence, RI) pulled down a team-best 11 rebounds in the loss for the Anchorwomen.
• Junior Ashley Brown (Fairhaven, MA) paced UMass Dartmouth with a game-high 26 points, three rebounds and three assists, while senior Nakira Examond (New Bedford, MA) notched a double-double with 19 points and 12 boards in the win for the Corsairs.
• The two teams traded leads throughout the first quarter with the score knotted, 17-17, at the first intermission.
• RIC trailed by two, 24-22, after a layup from Livramento with 6:58 remaining in the first half.
• UMass Dartmouth then went on a 9-1 run, capped by a three-pointer from senior Jess Korzec (North Brookfield, MA), to take its largest lead of the first half, 33-23, with 3:58 left in the stanza.
• The Corsairs took an eight point advantage, 38-30, heading into the locker room at halftime.
• UMD pushed the lead to as many as 14 points several times in the third quarter, which included a 56-42 advantage on a three-pointer from Brown with 3:47 left in the quarter.
• The Corsairs held the, 62-54, after three quarters of play.
• UMD then pulled away down the stretch en route to the 77-65 victory.
BY THE NUMBERS
• RIC shot 39 percent (25-for-69) from the field, 20 percent (5-for-20) from three-point range and 71 percent (10-for-14) from the free throw line.
• UMass Dartmouth shot 42 percent (28-for-67) from the field, 47 percent (8-for-17) from the three-point line and 68 percent (13-for-19) from the free throw line.
• RIC outrebounded UMD by a slight, 44-42, margin, while the Anchorwomen committed 14 turnovers in the setback.
