Boston, Mass.--Junior Chelsea Yang (Warwick, RI) finished second in the weight throw (18.26m) as the Rhode Island College women's indoor track and field team saw action at Boston University's David Hemery Invitational on Friday afternoon.

• Sophomore Georgerinna Farley (Providence, RI) placed 13th in the weight throw (15.82m).
• Senior Chevell Burgess (Providence, RI) placed 24th in the triple jump (10.85m).
• Junior Melissa Mejia (Providence, RI) placed 36th in the weight throw (14.03m).
• Freshman Imari Riebe (Randolph, MA) placed 38th in the triple jump (10.09m).
• Freshman Ashleigh Wyrostek (Seekonk, MA) placed 41st in the shot (10.94m).
• Sophomore Trinity Hayes (Providence, RI) finished 54th in the 400m (57.67) and 75th in the 200m (25.65).
• Junior Bryana Mullin (Warwick, RI) placed 113th in the 800m (2:18.17).
• Freshman Katheryn Biliouris (West Warwick, RI) placed 177th in the 400m (1:02.43) and 249th in the 200m (27.46).
• Freshman Taleah Gandy (Stoughton, MA) placed 275th in the 200m (27.90).
