Anchorwomen Come Up Short at Plymouth State

Plymouth, N.H.—Junior attacker Ashley Rewers (Oakdale, Conn.) scored the lone goal as Rhode Island College fell at Plymouth State, 19-1, in Little East women's lacrosse action on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Panthers took complete control of the game with a nine-goal effort in the first quarter.
 
• Rewers tallied with 6:56 remaining in the third frame.
 
• Junior goalkeeper Shannon O'Connell (Narragansett, R.I.) played the first half and took the loss (0-5) before moving to the field in the third quarter. She finished with two saves, four ground balls and three caused turnovers.
 
• Senior midfielder Natalie Kulacz (Cumberland, R.I.) registered four ground balls, four draw controls and three caused turnovers.
 
• PSU junior attackers Emily Santom (Litchfield, N.H.) and Sarah Shartner (Plymouth, N.H.) each finished with four goals and two assists for six points.
