North Windham, Conn.—Freshman Jasper Bruins Slot (Scituate, R.I.) finished sixth overall as Rhode Island College opened the 2022-23 season with a third place finish at Eastern Connecticut's Warrior Invitational, played at Windham Golf Course on Wednesday afternoon.
 
THE BASICS
• Rhode Island College placed third with a team score of 326 (+46). Eastern Connecticut finished first overall with a team score of 289 (+9). Westfield State finished second with a team score of 315 (+35).
