Jasper Bruins Slot (Scituate, R.I.) earned co-medalist honors to lead the Rhode Island College men's golf team to a second place (four teams) finish at the RIC Fall Invitational B meet played at Valley Country Club on Wednesday afternoon.

THE BASICS
• RIC finished second (four teams) with a team score of 303 (+15). Wentworth finished first as a team with a score of 302 (+14). RIC's B squad finished third (330) and Dean College (344) rounded out the foursome.

• 20 golfers competed at the invitational, which was a par-72 and measured 6,508 yards.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Bruins Slot finished first overall via a tiebreaker. He has finished first overall at each of RIC's three competitions this fall.

In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will see action at the 2025 Little East Championship, hosted by Western Connecticut at Redding Country Club on Wednesday and Thursday, Oct. 8-9.
