• The Saints led, 11-8, in the first set, then racked up a few multi-point rallies to win handedly, 25-15.

• The second set was a back-and-forth affair, with neither team being able to break away until late in the frame. The Anchorwomen used multiple service aces from sophomore defensive specialist
Nicole Normandin (Blackstone, Mass.) to eventually win by six, 25-19.

• Stanza three was another close battle, with RIC using multiple late comeback attempts to keep things close, until Saints sophomore middle blocker
Jaiden Greaves (Wells, Maine) ended the set with a kill, 25-22.

Amelia Murphy (North Attleboro, Mass.) earned a double-double with a game-high 11 kills to go with her 13 digs.

• Normandin registered a game-high 14 digs and four aces.

Kerry Shea (Tewksbury, Mass.) tied Murphy with a game-high 11 winners.

• With the victory, Emmanuel snapped a five-match losing streak. RIC has now dropped its last three contests.
