HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Corsairs came out with a strong performance in the first set and downed the Anchorwomen, 25-10.

• The second set saw UMD race out to a 13-4 advantage and never look back, winning the stanza handedly, 25-14.

• The Anchorwomen led by two, 19-17, late in the third stanza. The Corsairs would outscore the visitors, 8-3, to close the door and win in straight sets.

Amelia Murphy (North Attleboro, Mass.) led the Anchorwomen with six kills and also registered eight digs. Sophomore setter
Natalie Reid (North Attleboro, Mass.) led RIC with nine assists.

Kate Wade (San Clemente, Calif.) led the match with nine kills.

• Corsair freshmen setters
Emma Rousseau (Seymour, Conn.) and
Sabrina Bordone (Massapequa, N.Y.) combined for 31 assists, with 17 and 14, respectively.
