HOW IT HAPPENED
• Marines recorded five kills in the opening set to lead RIC to a 25-18 victory.

• After trailing 5-1 early in the second frame, RIC would end the set on a 15-2 run to convincingly win the set, 25-13.

• The Anchorwomen showed total domination in the third stanza, racing out to an 18-5 lead. Anna Maria tried their best to pull off an insurmountable comeback, but RIC would win the set by six, 25-19, to complete the sweep.

Rhiannon Hodovanec (Feeding Hills, Mass.) led the team with four service aces. Freshman setter
Grace Luchka (North Scituate, R.I.) handed out a career-best 11 assists.
