Cal Parrillo (Greenville, R.I.) went 4-for-5 with three RBI as the Rhode Island College baseball team defeated Dean, 7-6, to close out their southern trip at the Snowbird Classic on Thursday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• RIC scored the first five runs of the ballgame over the first five innings, with Parrillo and senior left fielder
Joey Coro (North Providence, R.I.) each driving in a pair of runs.

• Dean struck for six runs in the sixth inning to take the lead, 6-5. They scored off of an error to begin the inning, then strung together a bunch of hits and walks to drive multiple runs in.

• The Anchormen were able to tie the game up in the seventh, then took the lead for good after an RBI single from Parrillo.

Connor Davey (Cheshire, Conn.) notched the win (2-0) with a six-strikeout performance in relief.
