Daniel Trzepacz (Mont Vernon, N.H.) drove in two runs as the Rhode Island College baseball team lost a heartbreaker vs. Lebanon Valley, 5-4, at the Snowbird Classic on Thursday morning.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• RIC and LVC each grabbed a run early, with RIC scoring off a ground out by junior third baseman
Cal Parrillo (Smithfield, R.I.) in the first, while the Dutchmen plated a runner off of a wild pitch in the second.

• After a sacrifice fly by Trzepacz made the game 2-1 in RIC's favor, LVC added three runs in the fifth inning off three RBI hits.

• RIC was able to tie the game by the eighth inning, but surrendered the winning run off of a single in the ninth inning.

• Trzepacz was 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles and an RBI.

Shane Stossel (West Hanover, Pa.) went 2-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI. LVC had four different student-athletes drive in a run.
