HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Panthers roared out to a quick start in the first set, going on an 11-3 run to take a 22-13 lead. A 5-0 subsequent run from RIC was not enough as Plymouth State took the set by seven, 25-18.

• The second frame started off relatively even, with both teams tied, 10-10. Two consecutive kills by Panther senior middle hitter
Nora Ryan (Groton, Conn.) pushed Plymouth State to a 25-15 win.

Lilli Stogner (Weare, N.H.) posted four kills over a 13-4 run for the hosts as they rolled to a 25-12 win in the third set and remained unbeaten in league action.

Marina Colonis (Waterford, Conn.) tallied a team-high 12 digs.

• It marked the first time this fall that the Anchorwomen have been swept in a match.
