Willimantic, Conn.--Junior forward
 Angelina Nardolillo (Hinsdale, N.H.) recorded a game-high 17 points and pitched in with five rebounds, three assists and two blocks as No. 3 Rhode Island College won at Eastern Connecticut, 87-35, in a Little East women's basketball game played at Geissler Gymnasium on Wednesday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Back-to-back three-pointers by junior guard 
Jayda Bing (Hamilton, N.J.) helped RIC build a 22-9 lead after the first quarter.
 
• The Anchorwomen defense smothered the Warriors as they limited the hosts to just nine points in the second quarter as well. RIC would take a 35-18 lead into halftime.
 
• Nardolillo would score 10 points in the third quarter as RIC outscored Eastern Connecticut 25-11 in the frame to extend its lead to 60-29.
 
• The Anchorwomen offense never took their foot off the gas pedal, scoring the final 25 points of the game to secure the 87-35 win.
 
• The 52-point victory is the largest margin of victory for the Anchorwomen this year.
 
• Junior guard 
Madison Medbury (Scituate, R.I.) and fifth-year forward 
Izabelle Booth (Newport, R.I.) each had 11 points on the night.
 
• Graduate guard 
Sophia Guerrier (Waltham, Mass.) finished with six points, eight boards, four steals and three assists.
