Boston, Mass.--Sophomores Brandon Mota (West Warwick, R.I.) and Shamus Culhane (North Kingstown, R.I.) posted top-15 performances in the weight throw as the Rhode Island College men's track and field team saw action at Boston University's John Thomas Terrier Classic on Friday afternoon.

• Mota finished 11^th in the weight throw (15.34m).
 
• Culhane finished 14^th in the weight throw (14.98m).
 
• Junior Garrett Jones (Beacon Falls, Conn.) finished 14^th in the triple jump (12.43m).
 
• Freshman Shane Marshall (Newport, R.I.) finished 23^rd in the shot (9.89m).
 
• Freshman Trevor Morgan (Smithfield, R.I.) finished 25^th in the weight throw (12.12m).
 
• Senior Christopher McCarthy (Cranston, R.I.) finished 28^th in the weight throw (11.78m).
 
• Freshman Giovanni Alves (Pawtucket, R.I.) finished 30^th in the 500m (1:16.07).
 
• Freshman Adrian Kawreh (Providence, R.I.) finished 31^st in the 500m (1:18.67).
 
• Freshman Alexander Pinheiro (Warwick, R.I.) finished 36^th in the 60m (7.39) and 84^th in the 200m (22.84).
