Boston, Mass.—Freshman Gabriel Dosunmu (Providence, R.I.) earned All-New England honors with a seventh place finish in the long jump (6.68m) as the Rhode Island College men's track and field team competed at the New England Div. III Championship, held at The Track at New Balance on Sunday.
 
THE BASICS
• Rhode Island College tied for 27^th (28 teams)  with a team score of 2.0. MIT won the championship with a team score of 154.0.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
• Sophomore Shamus Culhane (North Kingstown, R.I.) finished 11^th in the weight throw (15.65m).
 
• Sophomore Brandon Mota (West Warwick, R.I.) finished 12^th in the weight throw (15.49m).
 
WHAT'S NEXT
In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will compete at the 2024 NEICAAA Championship, held at The Track at New Balance on Friday and Saturday, March 1-2.
