Cameron Mello (Somerset, Mass.) tied for second overall as Rhode Island College won its annual Spring Invitational, played at Valley Country Club on Saturday afternoon.
THE BASICS
• Rhode Island College finished first with a team score of 337. Emmanuel finished second (340), Worcester State was third (350), Dean was fourth (373) and RIC's B Team placed fifth (390).
• 24 golfers competed at the meet.
• Valley Country Club is a par-72 and the course measured 6,508 yards.

• Mello carded an 80 (+8) to place first.
