Westfield, Mass.--Junior Jasper Bruins Slot (Scituate, R.I.) finished in a tie for fourth place with a score of 76 to lead Rhode Island College to a fourth place finish (10 teams) at Westfield State's Brett Williamson Invitational, which was played at Tekoa Country Club on Wednesday afternoon.
 
THE BASICS
• The Anchormen finished fourth (10 teams) with a team score of 335. New England College finished first (307), Worcester State came in second (316)  and MCLA was third (325).
 
• The event was held at Tekoa Country Club, was a par-71 and measured 6,438 yards.
 
• A total of 50 golfers competed at the event.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
• Bruins Slot tied for fourth with a 76 (+5).
 
• Senior Cameron Mello (Somerset, Mass.) finished 16^th with an 81 (+10).
 
• Junior Kyle Cullen (Glocester, R.I.) tied for 21^st with an 83 (+12).
 
• Sophomore Max Nasser (Middletown, R.I.) finished 41^st with a 95 (+24).
 
• Fifth-year Khai Delgado (Wareham, Mass.) tied for 42^nd with a 96 (+25) in his first action of the year.
