Angelina Nardolillo (Hinsdale, N.H.) recorded 16 points, corralled 10 rebounds and blocked two shots as Rhode Island College downed Western Connecticut, 79-38, in Little East action played at the William A. O'Neill Center on Wednesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The first seven minutes of the game saw a balanced contest from both sides as the Anchorwomen held a two-point, 12-10, lead.

• Sophomore guard
Meagan Schuermann (Cooperstown, N.Y.) scored five straight to close the first quarter and put RIC ahead by seven, 17-10.

• The Anchorwomen would then hold the hosts to just an eight-point second quarter and would increase the advantage to 16, 34-18, heading into the locker room.

• Senior guard
Madison Medbury (Scituate, R.I.) poured in six points in the third quarter to build the visitor's lead to 19, 50-31, with just 10 minutes to play.

• RIC was not done quite yet as the Anchorwomen scored 29 points in the last frame to give the Wolves an insurmountable deficit to come back from.

• Schuermann netted a team-high 17 points.

• Medbury registered 14, six rebounds, four assists and three steals.
