Matthew Kelly (Katonah, N.Y.) and 12 other Anchormen were recognized by the New England Wrestling Association (NEWA) for their performance during the 2024-25 season.
Kelly was named Second Team All-NEWA and to the league's All-Academic Team. He went 23-3 at 197 lbs. with 10 pins, five technical falls, 22 takedowns, four reversals and 25 near-falls. Kelly won the Veterans All-American Classic on Nov. 9, finished second to earn All-Region honors at the NCAA Div. III Northeast Regional Championship on March 1-2 and went 1-2 at the NCAA Div. III National Championship on March 14.

Michael Alfonso (Garfield, N.J.) was named Honorable Mention All-NEWA and to the league's All-Academic Team. He went 24-9 at 285 lbs. with 12 pins and 35 takedowns. He placed second at both the Veterans All-American Classic on Nov. 9 and the Doug Parker Invitational on Nov. 23 and earned All-Region honors with an eighth place finish at the NCAA Div. III Northeast Regional Championship on March 1-2. Alfonso was named a National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Scholar All-American for the fourth straight season.

Christopher McCarthy (Middletown, N.J.) was named Honorable Mention All-NEWA and to the league's All-Academic Team. He went 17-8 at 165 lbs. with two pins, 10 technical falls, 34 takedowns, five reversals and 28 near-falls. He placed second at the Veterans All-American Classic on Nov. 9 and earned All-Region honors with an eighth place finish at the NCAA Div. III Northeast Regional Championship on March 1-2. McCarthy was also named a National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Scholar All-American.
