Huskies Take Two From Anchormen

Gorham, Maine--Senior first baseman Daniel Cascio (East Hampton, Conn.)  went a combined 1-for-4 with an RBI as Rhode Island College dropped a Little East twinbill at Southern Maine's Flaherty Field on Sunday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Both games ended early due to the 10-run rule.
 
• Cascio notched an RBI single in game one. Sophomore pitcher Ben Nowinski (Barrington, R.I.) got the loss (0-2).
 
• RIC tallied three hits in the nightcap. Freshman catcher Brady Zadora (Dayville, Conn.) went 2-for-2. Freshman designated hitter Jace Wolfradt (Pawcatuck, Conn.) hit his first career homer.
 
• Junior pitcher Jason Potvin (Tiverton, R.I.) took the loss (0-3).
