Manchester, N.H.--Sophomore Jack McEntee (Foster, R.I.) finished first in the 400m hurdles (53.71; personal best) as the Rhode Island College men's track and field team competed at Southern New Hampshire's Ed Daniels Invitational Saturday.
 
THE BASICS
• It was an individual meet with no team scoring and featured Div. I, II and III competition.
 
THE TOP PERFORMERS
• McEntee has moved up to No. 15 in the nation in the 400m hurdles with his effort today.

• Junior Andrew Frezza (Johnston, R.I.) finished second in the 5,000m (15:23.07; personal best).

• Senior Loudon Chupas (Colchester, Conn.) finished second in the javelin (55.49m), 11th in the high jump (1.78m) and 42nd in the 200m (23.84).

• Junior Enrique Edjang (Providence, R.I.) finished fourth in the hammer (54.51m; personal best).

• Sophomore Owen Schenck (Warren, R.I.) finished fourth in the 800m (1:56.55).
 
THE REST OF THE FIELD
• Sophomore Ravi Kapadia (Lincoln, R.I.) finished second in the shot (12.68m).
  
• Sophomore Joshua Dabanka (Providence, R.I.) finished eighth in the triple jump (12.48m) and 12th in the long jump (6.24m).
 
• Freshman Tyler Boudreau (Warwick, R.I.) finished eighth in the 3,000m steeplechase (10:33.56) and 36th in the 800m (2:12.84).
 
• Senior Shamus Culhane (North Kingstown, R.I.) finished ninth in the hammer (49.45m).
 
• Freshman Adrien Nacci (Newport, R.I.) finished 11th in the 3,000m steeplechase (10:52.41) and 38th in the 800m (2:14.69).
 
• Freshman Truvu Akarra (Barrington, R.I.) finished 12th in the 400m hurdles (1:03.31).
 
• Junior Trevor Morgan (Smithfield, R.I.) finished 12th in the hammer (45.48m).
 
• Senior Brandon Mota (West Warwick, R.I.) finished 13th in both the hammer (45.28m) and the discus (38.84m).
 
• Sophomore Aiden Fitzgerald (Cumberland, R.I.) finished 14th in the shot (13.13m).
 
• Freshman Christian Briggs (West Warwick, R.I.) finished 14th in the hammer (45.15m).
 
• Senior Izaiah Karweh (Providence, R.I.) finished 19th in the 100m preliminaries (11.23) and 35th in the 200m (23.37).
 
• Senior Isiah Briggs (Providence, R.I.) finished 21st in both the long jump (5.68m) and 100m preliminaries (11.26) and 32nd in the 200m (23.26).
 
• Junior Antonello Lucchetti (Cranston, R.I.) finished 33rd in the 200m (23.21).
 
• Sophomore Brody Shiels (Wakefield, R.I.) finished 27th in the 400m (54.06).
