HOW IT HAPPENED
• The hosts took two of three in doubles action to secure the match's first point. DeThomas and sophomore
Addison Hadlock (Littleton, N.H.) won, 6-4, at second doubles.
• Peacock won in straight sets (6-0, 6-4), while DeThomas bounced back from an opening set loss to win in three (6-7, 6-4, 1-0).
• The Anchorwomen were without a key piece of their lineup in third singles starter junior
Emilia Houwers (Whitewater, Wis.).
