Dartmouth, Mass.--Senior Andrew Frezza (Johnston, R.I.) finished 130^th and was the Anchormen's top runner as Rhode Island College saw action at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational on Saturday afternoon.
 
THE BASICS
• There were 32 colleges and universities that competed in the meet, which was made up of schools from Divisions I-III.
 
• The Anchormen finished 30th (32 teams) with a team score of 919. Stonehill won the meet with a team score of 35.0
 
• There were 240 runners who competed at the Invitational, which was an 8k.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
• Frezza finished 130th (27:22.23).
 
• Freshman Jahmel Rodrigues (Pawtucket, R.I.) finished 196th (29:22.79).
 
• Junior Owen Schenck (Warren, R.I.) finished 220th (31:03.65).
 
• Sophomore Marcos Ruiz Uben (Westerly, R.I.) finished 226th (31:53.51).
 
• Senior Hussein Niyonkuru (Providence, R.I.) finished 239th (34:12.93).

In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will compete at the Keene State Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 3.
