Providence, R.I.--Senior goalkeeper Elhadji Ndoye (Cranston, R.I.) recorded five saves to secure his second clean sheet of the season as Rhode Island College battled UMass Boston to a 0-0, draw at Alumni Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Ndoye made a pair of key saves within the first 15 minutes of the game, with one of them being a diving save, which was later cleared off the line from senior back Jackson Fox (Portsmouth, R.I.).
 
• With that, the Anchormen grabbed the momentum from a possession-heavy Beacons team and progressed forward with shots by sophomore classmates Moise Augustin (Providence, R.I.) and Julian Orellana (Providence, R.I.) in the 15th and 18th minutes respectively.
 
• However, RIC's solid back line withstood the first-half test from the visitors as both sides were locked in a scoreless draw.
 
• The Beacons came out controlling the pace once again, but the Anchormen kept their formation consistent throughout the second half, which made it hard for the visitors to attack.
 
• The hosts held on against the reigning Little East champions to keep them scoreless and earn the shutout.
 
• Ndoye's five saves are the third-most in a game for him this season as he registered his fifth career scoreless outing.
 
• RIC is unbeaten in its last four contests.
 
• The Anchormen sported Childhood Cancer Awareness Month shirts during the pre-game warm-up.
