New Haven, Conn--Senior Haley Oliver (Coventry, R.I.) won the mile (5:12.59) as the Rhode Island College women's track and field team finished third (11 teams) at Southern Connecticut's Art Kadish Elm City Challenge on Friday and Saturday.

• Freshman Naibel Noriega (Providence, R.I.) finished second in the 4x400m relay (4:12.51), fourth in the 55m finals (7.39) and seventh in the 200m (27.41).

• Sophomore Quiana Pezza (Cranston, R.I.) finished second in both the 200m (26.77) and the 4x400m relay (4:12.51), eighth in the 55m preliminaries (7.57) and ninth in the long jump (4.84m).
