Providence, R.I--Rhode Island College freshman Maycol Reynoso (Providence, R.I.) was named the Little East Men's Rookie Track Athlete of the Week for his performance at UMass Lowell's Riverhawk Invitational, held at The Track at New Balance, on Feb. 7.
It is the third time this season that Reynoso has received this award.
Reynoso finished 13th in the 200m open (22.40;Â personal best) and 16th in the 60m preliminaries (7.01;Â personal best).
It was an individual meet with no team scoring and featured mostly Div. I and II institutions.
In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will compete at Boston University's David Hemerey Valentine Invitational on Saturday, Feb. 14.
