Autumn Wosencroft ’16 was a dominant jumper and sprinter during her career in women's track and field from 2012-16. She received the Helen M. Murphy Award and qualified for the NCAA Div. III Women's Track and Field National Championship five times.

She earned a bachelor's degree in justice studies from Rhode Island College in 2016.

INDOOR TRACK AND FIELD
As senior in 2015-16, Wosencroft finished first in the 400m (58.73) and eighth in the long jump (4.93m) at the Tufts Last Chance Meet on Mar. 4. She finished 22nd in the 400m (57.87; season-best) and 24th in the 200m (25.71; season-best) at the 2016 N.E. Open Championships on Feb. 27. Wosencroft finished seventh in the 200m (26.15), 11th in the 400m (1:00.60) and 14th in the long jump (4.97m), while earning All-New England honors as a member of the first place 4x200m relay (1:44.19; field-house record) at the N.E. Div. III Championships Feb. 19-20. She earned N.E. Alliance honors in four events at the N.E. Alliance Championships on Feb. 13. Wosencroft secured a second place finish in the 4x200m relay (1:45.91), finished third in both the 200m (26.37) and the 400m (59.65), and was fifth in the long jump (5.05m). She also finished seventh as part of the 4x400m relay (4:22.36) and 14th in the 60m (8.35; season-best).

She finished 16th in the 400m (58.74), 18th in the long jump (5.05m) and 38th in the 200m (26.08) at the Scarlet and White Invitational on Feb. 6. Wosencroft finished 69th in the 400m (59.17), while also competing as a member of the 43rd place 4x400m relay (4:09.43) at the John Thomas Terrier Invitational on Jan. 29-30. She finished first in the 200m (26.94) and second in the long jump (5.07m), while also competing as a member of the first place distance medley relay (14:35.48), at the Wesleyan Invitational on Jan. 24. Wosencroft finished first in the 55m (7.66; season-best), 200m (26.73) and the 4x400m relay (4:21.85), to go along with a second place effort in the long jump (5.02m), at the Coast Guard Winter Invitational on Jan. 16. She finished eighth in the long jump (5.16m) at the Jay Carisella Invitational on Dec. 12. Wosencroft finished first in the long jump (5.27m; season-best), 200m (26.66), and 4x200m relay (1:47.65), while finishing second in 4x400m relay (4:12.62), at the Springfield Invitational on Dec. 5.

As a junior in 2014-15, Wosencroft finished 11th in the 400m (58.18) at the NCAA National Championships Mar. 13.  She placed eighth in the 400m (56.93; season-best) at the N.E. Open Championships on Feb. 27-28. Wosencroft captured All-New England honors by finishing first in the 400m (58.48) and second in the 200m (25.97), while also placed ninth in the long jump (5.14m), at the N.E. Championships on Feb. 20-21. She earned N.E. Alliance honors in five events by placing first in the 400m (58.31), 200m (26.05) and as part of the 4x400m relay (4:09.16), while finishing second in the long jump (5.34m) and sixth in the 60m (8.21), at the Alliance on Feb. 14.

Wosencroft placed 12th in the 400m (57.16) and 19th in the long jump (4.91m) at the Scarlet & White Invitational on Feb. 7. She finished 18th in the long jump (5.21m), 34th in the 200m (25.54; season-best) and 51st in the 60m (8.21) at the John Thomas Terrier Classic on Jan. 30. Wosencroft finished first in both the 60m (8.09) and the long jump (5.07m) at the Wesleyan Invitational on Jan. 24. She placed first in the 55m (7.65; season-best), 200m (27.00) and 400m (1:02.54), while also placing second in the long jump (5.01m) and fourth in the triple jump (10.24m; season-best), at the Coast Guard Invitational on Jan. 17. Wosencroft placed ninth in the 200m (26.29), 11th in the 60m (8.05; season-best) and 13th in the long jump (4.88m) at the Yale Invitational on Jan. 10. She finished fifth in the long jump (5.36m; season-best) and sixth in the 200m (26.17) at the Jay Carisella Invitational on Dec. 13. Wosencroft finished first in the 200m (26.66), while finishing second in the 60m (8.11), long jump (5.04m) and the 4x200m (1:50.11) and 4x400m (4:14.77) relays, at the Springfield Invitational on Dec. 6.  She was a two-time Little East Track Athlete of the week selection on the season.

As a sophomore in 2013-14, Wosencroft was named the team's MVP. She finished 10th in the 400m preliminaries (56.84) and 15th in the long jump preliminaries (5.15m) at the 2014 NCAA Div. III Indoor Track & Field Championships held on March 14. She took first place in the long jump (5.45m) at the Tufts Last Chance Meet on March 6. Wosencroft placed 11th in the long jump (5.35m) and 23rd in the 200m preliminaries (25.75) at the N.E. Open Championships on March 1. She earned a trio of All-New England honors with second place finishes in the 400m (59.07) and the long jump (5.60 m; program record) and a fifth-place finish in the 200m (26.15) at the New England Div. III Championships on Feb. 21-22. Wosencroft finished as the Alliance Champion in the long jump (5.58m) and also finished as the Alliance Champion in the 400m (57.77) at the N.E. Alliance Championships on Feb. 15. She also earned N.E. Alliance honors in the 200m with a second place finish (26.07) and in the triple jump with a sixth-place finish (10.34m; season-best). Wosencroft finished eighth in the 55m (7.58; season-best) and was a member of the 4x400m relay team that earned N.E. Alliance honors with a third place finish (4:13.32).

She finished 18th in the long jump (5.18m) and 30th in the 200m with a program-record time of 25.36 at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational on Feb. 7.Wosencroft took first place in the long jump (5.20m), while placing second in the 200m (26.43), sixth in the triple jump (10.26m) and 10th in the preliminaries of the 60m hurdles (8.41; season-best) at the Tufts Stampede Invitational on Feb. 1. She finished 15th in the 400m (56.42; season-best) at the John Thomas Terrier Invitational on Jan. 24.Wosencroft placed third in both the 400m (58.36) and the long jump (5.20m) at the Jay Carisella Invitational on Dec. 14. She took first place in the 60m (8.20; season-best), while also placing second in both the long jump (5.12m) and the 400m (59.88) at the Springfield Invitational on Dec. 7.

As a freshman in 2012-13, Wosencroft was a member of the 4x400 relay team that finished 10th overall at the 2013 NCAA Div. III Championships with a time of 3:54.86. Prior to that, she was a member of the 4x400m relay team that broke the previous program record with a third-place time of 3:53.01 at the Tufts Last Chance Meet on March 2. Wosencroft finished 28th in the preliminaries of the 400m with a season-high time of 58.96 at the N.E. Open Championships on Feb. 23. She earned All-New England honors with a fifth place finish and a season-best effort in the 200m (26.36) and as part of the 4x200m relay team which finished second (1:45.66), while also placing eighth in the 400m (59.67) and 11th in the long jump (4.98m) at the N.E. Div. III Championships on Feb. 16. Wosencroft earned N.E. Alliance honors in the three events, placing fourth in the triple jump with a season-high mark of 10.31m, fifth in the 400m (1:00.32), sixth in the long jump with a season-high mark of 5.07 at the N.E. Alliance Championships on Feb. 10. She also finished 10th in the 200m (26.76) and helped lead the 4x200m relay team to a first place finish and a program-record time of 1:44.50.

Wosencroft finished fifth in the long jump (4.90m), seventh in the 400m (1:01.37), 10th in the triple jump (10.24m) and 11th in the 200m (27.21) at the Tufts Stampede Invitational on Feb. 2. She finished 22nd in the long jump (4.85m), 26th in the triple jump (10.12m), and 61st in the 200m (26.51) at the B.U. Terrier Invitational on Jan. 26. Wosencroft placed fifth in both the 200m (27.21) and the long jump (4.67m), while also finishing seventh in the triple jump (9.74m) at the Wesleyan Invitational on Jan. 19. She finished first in the 200m (27.89), second in the triple jump (9.69m), and third in the long jump (4.53m) at the Coast Guard Invitational on Jan. 12. Wosencroft placed third in the triple jump (10.25m), fourth in the 200m (27.24) and fifth in the long jump (4.74m) at the Southern Maine Invitational on Jan. 5. She placed 23rd in the long jump (4.70m) at the Harvard Open on Dec. 8. Wosencroft placed fifth in the long jump (4.73m) and seventh in the triple jump (9.80m) at the Springfield Invitational on Dec. 1.

OUTDOOR TRACK AND FIELD
As a senior in 2016, Wosencroft was named the team’s MVP. Wosencroft finished first in the 400m (58.23) and second in the 200m (25.90), while also competing as a member of the second place 4x100m relay (48.47), at the Salisbury Elite Qualifying Meet on May 19. She finished 12th in the 400m (57.20), 17th in the 200m (25.59) and 21st in the long jump (4.96m) at the N.E. Open Championships on May. 13. Wosencroft earned four All-N.E. honors, finishing second in the 400m (57.09; season-best), fourth in the 200m (25.31; season-best) and fifth in the long jump (5.46m; season-best), while competing as a member of the fifth place 4x100m relay (48.62), at the N.E. Div. III Championships on Apr. 5-7. She earned a pair of N.E. Alliance honors, finishing third in the 200m (25.82) and fourth in the 400m (57.87), while also finishing seventh in the long jump (5.15m) and fifth in the 4x100m relay (49.11) at the N.E. Alliance Championships on Apr. 30.

Wosencroft finished third in the 400m (58.19), sixth in the 200m (25.49) and 10th in the long jump (5.01m), while also competing as a member of the 4x400m relay, at the Sean Collier Invitational on Apr. 23. She finished first in the 200m (25.40), 400m (57.95) and the 4x100m relay (50.17) at the Silfen Invitational on Apr. 16. Wosencroft finished second in the 400m (58.50) and fourth in the 200m (26.17) at the Yellow Jacket Invitational on Apr. 9. She finished second in the long jump (4.83m), third in the 100m (12.76) and third in the 200m (26.77) at the Coast Guard Invitational on Apr. 2.

As a junior in 2015, Wosencroft was named the team’s MVP. She wrapped up her season by earning two All-ECAC honors, finishing sixth in the 400m (57.03) and eighth in the long jump (5.33m) at the ECAC Championships on May 14-15. Wosencroft placed 15th in the 400m (57.06) at the N.E. Open Championships on May 8-9. She earned All-New England honors with a fourth place finish in the long jump (5.40m; season-best), while also placing ninth in the 200m (25.80), at the N.E. Div. III Championships on Apr. 30-May 2. Wosencroft earned a trio of N.E. Alliance honors with a first place finish in the 400m (57.13), second place finish in the long jump (5.39m) and third place finish in the 200m (26.43) at the Alliance Championships on Apr. 25. She placed second in the long jump (5.17m) and 100m (12.83) and third in the 200m (26.08) at the Eric Loeschner Invitational on Apr. 18.

Wosencroft placed first in the 400m (56.50; season-best), fifth in the 200m (26.33; season-best) and 12th in the long jump (4.21m) at the Brown Invitational on Apr. 11. She placed first in the long jump (4.65m), second in the 100m (12.59; season-best) and second in the 200m (25.68) at the Corsair Invitational on Apr. 4. Wosencroft finished first in the long jump (5.16m) at the Coast Guard Invitational on Mar. 28.

As a sophomore in 2014, Wosencroft placed 12th in the long jump (5.41m) at the NCAA Div. III Outdoor Track and Field Championships on May 22-24. She took 13th in the long jump (5.34m) at the ECAC Championships on May 15-16. Wosencroft finished 17th in the long jump (5.06m) at the N.E. Open Championships on May 9-10. She finished second in both the 400m (57.42) and the long jump (5.62m; program record) to earn All-New England honors at the N.E. Div. III Championships on May 3. Wosencroft earned N.E. Alliance honors in a trio of events, as she took the crown in the 400m with a first place finish (58.14), placed fourth in the long jump (4.87m) and finished fifth in the 200m (25.94) at the N.E. Alliance Championships on April 27.

She took first in the 100m (12.57; season-best) and the 200m (25.76; season-best), while also placing second in the long jump (5.25) at the Silfen Invitational on April 19. Wosencroft took first place in the 400m (57.32; season-best) and also recorded an 11th place finish in the long jump (4.42m) at the Brown Invitational on April 12. She finished second in the 200m (26.48) at the Corsair Invitational on April 5. Wosencroft took first place in the long jump (5.36m), placed second in the 200m (26.21), and finished seventh in the 100m (13.02) at the Coast Guard Invitational on March 29.

As a freshman in 2013, Wosencroft placed 11th in the 4x400m relay with a time of 3:50.97 at the NCAA Div. III Championships on May 23. Wosencroft earned All-ECAC honors as part of the 4x400m relay (3rd; 3:50.99) at the ECAC Championships on May 16-17. Wosencroft placed third as part of the 4x400m relay (3:49.52; program record) at the N.E. Open Championships on May 10-11. She placed 10th in the 400m hurdles (1:05.88; season best) and 11th in the long jump (4.96m), while earning All-New England honors as part of the 4x400m that finished in third place (3:54.01) at the N.E. Div. III Championships on May 4.Wosencroft earned N.E. Alliance honors in four events, as she placed second in both the 400m hurdles (65.13) and the long jump (5.30m; season best), placed fifth in the triple jump (10.55m; season best), and was also a member of the 4x400m relay team (3:55.93) that took first place overall at the N.E. Alliance Championships on April 2.

Wosencroft also placed fourth as part of the 4x100m relay (48.80; program record). She took first place in the long jump (10.36m), while also finishing third in the triple jump (10.36m), fourth in the 400m hurdles (1:10.71), sixth in the 100m (13.67), and seventh in the 200m (27.51) at the Silfen Invitational on April 20. Wosencroft finished third in the long jump (5.26m), eighth in the 200m (26.27), and 14th in the 400m (59.75) at the Brown Invitational on April 13. She placed first in the long jump (4.98m) and fourth in the 200m (26.07; season best) at the Corsair Invitational on April 6. Wosencroft took first place in both the long jump (5.14m) and the 400m (59.02; season best) at the Coast Guard Invitational on March 30.
