Tim Leigh ’14 is one of the top golfers in Rhode Island College history. He helped lead the Anchormen to three Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Championships and three appearances in the NCAA Div. III Men's Golf Championship. Leigh was named to RIC's 100th Anniversary Men's Golf Team.

The Somerset, Mass. native earned a bachelor’s degree in mass media communications from Rhode Island College in 2014 and also holds a degree in professional golf management from the Golf Academy of America.

As a senior in 2013-14, Leigh was named the men’s golf team’s MVP in his final season at Rhode Island College. Leigh was the individual champion, earned Player of the Year honors and First Team All-GNAC honors, finishing first among a field of 40 golfers, to lead Rhode Island College to its third consecutive Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Men's Golf Championship on Oct. 20. In his final outing with the Anchormen, Leigh tied for 162nd with a two-day total of 163 (81, 82) at the 2014 NCAA Div. III Men's Golf Championships on May 13-14. He averaged a score of 78.1 through 14 competitions and fired a season-low score of 71 on the first day of competition at the GNAC Championship. He was named the GNAC Golfer of the Week once on the season.
 
As a junior in 2012-13, Leigh averaged a score of 80.5 through 11 competitions. He posted a 22nd place finish after carding a 168 (81, 87; +24) at the 2012-13 Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Championship on Oct. 20-21 and later carded a 167 (89, 78; +24) to tie for 161st at the 2013 NCAA Div. III Championships on May 14-15. Leigh earned medalist honors to open the fall semester after firing a 75 to lead Rhode Island College to a victory over Mitchell College on Sept. 12. Two weekends later, he shot a season-best score of 73 to earn a share of medalist honors at the Blazers Fall Invitational on Sept. 26. Leigh named the GNAC Golfer of the Week once on the season. 
 
As a sophomore in 2011-12, Leigh averaged a score of 80.7 through 12 competitions. He shot a season-best score of 76 in the second round of the Johnson & Wales Fall Invitational on October 23 and then again in the first round of the 2012 NCAA Div. III Men's Golf Championships on May 15. Leigh carded a two-day total of 161 (76, 85), which tied him for 141st overall to lead the Anchormen at the NCAA Championships. He earned medalist honors after shooting a 79 in RIC’s season-opening win over Mitchell on September 14.
 
As a freshman in 2010-11, Leigh joined the team in the spring and averaged a score of 78.9 through five competitions. He shot a season-best score of 76 at the Johnson & Wales Wildcat Invitational on April 17-18.
