Rhode Island College

A master Fencer while at RIC, Grinnell-Weremay was one of the most accomplished student-athletes to compete for the Anchorwomen.

In four years she earned multiple high placings in the Class A and B New England Fencing Championships, including a first place finish in the Class B New England Championships in 1965, a first place finish in the Class A NE Championships in 1966, and back to back second place finished in the Class A NE Championships in 1967 and 1968.

She graduated from RIC in 1968 with a degree in Elementary Education.
